For the first time in the history of psychoanalytic publications, you are able to view papers submitted to the International Journal of Psychoanalysis before peer review and before the process of development and selection. You are invited to join in a peer discussion of those papers and to see the reports of the formal reviewers.

What’s more, authors' papers will appear on IJP Open in the language of submission (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian or German), and readers can comment in these languages, fostering important international connections. A translation computer program will be available to facilitate this.
We invite you to join IJP Open and to start taking part NOW at www.pep-web.org. The discussion has already started. Subscribers to pepweb will automatically be registered. Users without PEP Archive subscriptions can subscribe to IJP Open for free by registering for access via PaDS. New users must first register for PaDS and then select the free subscription to IJP Open from the products. Once you have logged on to PEPWeb, go to Journals, IJP Open.
We invite you to submit a paper to the International Journal of Psychoanalysis. Your paper will appear on IJP Open within two weeks of submission and will be open for discussion and will almost immediately be indexed in the PEP Literature Search (http://www.pep-web.org/).
The paper will not be published anonymously unless the author chooses this option. While an ‘opt-out’ option will be available to authors, we believe that authors will welcome the opportunity of a high level and international discussion of their papers.
IJP Open is for the benefit of all, authors and readers, and is there to enhance critical thinking via a respectful and sensitive engagement with authors. It is a launch pad ideas and eventual publication in the International Journal. For final published papers please continue to visit the website of the International Journal of Psychoanalysis at http://wileyonlinelibrary.com/journal/ijp
